Why does Evolution bother some Christians?

Well basically, Jesus died for our sins(that's the sins of Adam). A prerequisite for Adam to have sinned is that Adam had to have been real. For him to be real, creation would have to be real. Since evolution shows that creation of humans is not real, it screws up the Christian faith completely.
